Description of the Village

The village will be self-sufficient and self-contained. It has a vegetable and fruit farm and animal and fowl farming. There is a pre-school and elementary school and in the future there will be a need to expand our teaching facilities as the children grow. Education is the major factor in the long term development of the children to ensure that we maximized the potential and that we learn from the pleasures of ALLAH (GOD). We expect to help the childrento sustain their souls and strengthen their being Moslem and provide future chances on independent living, just as we could for our own children.

• DAC Home

For Boys We provide a one storey home of 300 sqm. residential home for boys, with seperate houseparents room and complete home facilities like kitchen, dining area, two bathrooms and laundry area.

For Girls We provide a one storey nipa hut residential room for girls.

• DACVF School

We provide an educational facility that offers pre-school to grade VI, teaches both Academic and Islamic education. It has library, Computer facility, arts and crafts equipment and specialized teachers to provide modern methods and techniques in teaching. We integrate Islamic and Arabic curriculum. A child has to complete religous subjects such as recitation of Quran, Arabic language, Hadith. Islamic values and manners, etc.

• Mosque

Built in an area of 100 sqm. lot on a hilly spacesurrounded with landscape greens. It is open for the community specially Juma'ah. Children pray in the mosque (5) times salah in congregation.

• Administration Building

Includes administration office, medical and dental clinic and teachers office.

• Guest House

We provide place for resting visitors.

• Staff House

We provide free housing, free electricity and free water to th staff of the DACVFI.

• Multipurpose Hall

This is where village activities are being held.

• Guard House

24 hour operation located at the main gate.

• Farm

The biggest part in the village for purpose of self sustainability and self sufficiency, where vegetables, herbal or medicinal plants and fruits are planted and harvested while the animal like goat, chicken and duck, are taken cared of which served as income generating activity of the village.
